London/Poprad 02 February 2006 RTI is in the final stages of
launching its first satellite service Europe wide just as BSkyB
announced the satellite which will carry RTI is now viewed by 8.1
million homes* in the UK alone.

RTI is now just days away from being available to ALL satellite homes
in the UK and Europe, dish position allowing, and that will mean RTI
will become accessible to more homes than the entire population of
Slovakia.

Eric Wiltsher, Director of RTI UK, said; "Being on the same satellite
as BSkyB gives RTI a fantastic opportunity to access the ever growing
digital platform in the UK.
"However, the way RTI is configured within the satellite means that
anyone, with or without a viewing card, can enjoy the programming
from RTI.
"For Slovakia; RTI on satellite will be a unique 24/7 digital
platform that will share information about the great tourist areas of
Slovakia, the beauty of the High Tatras and more whilst retaining
it's on-going commitment to it's local FM listeners in the High
Tatras. This is why we retain the balanced mix of English and Slovak.
"In 2006 RTI is exploring additional digital services as radio
matures into the digital platform it will be worldwide in the future".

RTI will broadcast FREE TO AIR on the Eurobird satellite at 28.5
East. This enables anyone in Europe with a satellite receiver and
suitable dish antenna to receive RTI. Tune in details will be on
www.rti.fm in the coming days.

Keď sa s ním stretne osobne tak mu určite lezie do zadku. Tiež si myslím, že je nekorektné nadávať na svojho kolegu na verejnom fóre. Ak s ním má nejaké problémy, tak si to môže vydiskutovať na pôde rádia a tak aby to nešlo na verejnosť. Ešte ani na tom si nedal záležať, aby príspevok napísal mimo svojej práce.

Teba by mali v rádiu vystopovať a vyhodiť. Píšeš tu takéto veci o rádiu v ktorom podľa IP adresy pracuješ. Je smiešne že píšeš v zmysle kedy už začnú vysielať normálne relácie atď., keď tam pracuješ. Nakoniec možno jednu z tých relácií vysielaš. Alebo Ti kolegovia vadia len preto, lebo máš málo priestoru vo vysielaní Ty? Večerná show je to najlepšie na RTI. Oproti slovenskému vysielaniu cez deň na neporovnanie lepšia úrovňou obsahu a hovoreného slova (kvality moderátorského prejavu). Eric je perfektný moderátor, svoju prácu si robí viac než dobre. S artikuláciou, ktorú mu tu vyčítaš rozhodne problémy nemá. Z Tvojej strany ide o zaujatý pohľad a závisť, keďže je to Tvoj kolega. Ľudia ako Ty by v rádiu robiť nemali. Všetci sú tam na jednej lodi a mali by fungovať ako kolektív, nie takto sa zhadzovať v diskusiách. Na internete hrdina a keď sa s ním stretávaš už hrdina nie si? Erica a Nataliu som počúval niekoľkokrát. Robia výbornú a hlavne originálnu večernú show. Z Erica je cítiť množstvo rozhlasových skúseností a roky praxe. Mnohí by sa od neho mohli učiť.

Eric? Najtrapnejsi speaker! Pocuvali ste ho? Ved vobec neartikuluje! Trepe sprostosi. A ta jeho Natalia a vsetci, co sa tam po veceroch striedaju... hanba RTI! Kedy konecne zacnu vecer vysielat normalne relacie?!

Eric,
you are doing great job in Slovakia. Hope RTI becomes successful and interesting radio station. Just think about professionality of moderators. Then need to improve.

Hello everyone – sorry about the English, my Slovak is coming along but not that good yet.
So, when we started RTI, the first meeting was over three years ago, I wanted it to be a station Slovakia could be proud of. It also wanted to share with as many as possible that the country was a fantastic place.
The owner, Mr Telensky, and I worked for what seemed a lifetime to get RTI on air, not just in Slovakia but also around Europe.
For reasons I won’t go into, after the launch we felt it better for me to take over the Slovak station as well as the UK and Latvian companies – so that is what happened.
Whilst I was already in overall charge of the broadcasting of all three countries, the Poprad service needed a lot more support and so I’ve started the move to Slovakia along with my family, including my three children.
In short, instead of me managing RTI from London, I’m now doing that from Slovakia and following my arrival we changed many things in Poprad.
I’m pleased that Igor Ludma stayed on as my assistant and that Vlado is now managing the music content of Poprad – he’s doing a great job for us.
Infact, during my recent trip to London I left Vlado and my P.A. Natalia jointly in charge of the Poprad station and they did a fantastic job.
By the way, if you didn’t manage to here Natalia doing the entire evening shows on her own you missed a real treat, she was brilliant. I’m trying to talk her into doing more show. Staying with new shows, there will soon be a new Slovak DJ joining us – more on him when the press release goes out. But he will be taking over the Friday evening slot that I normally do as I’m busy getting ready to launch two more RTI services.
By the way, thanks for the great e-mails and comments you guys and gals (girls) send me they are ready nice. But don’t forget the rest of my excellent team many of whom have had to make dramatic changes to the way in which they present shows, the new daytime sound in very different to what it was. They are also doing a great job working and changing all at the same time. Not easy!
OK, I’ve gone on long enough – don’t forget I’ll still be there with Natalia every Wednesday night and don’t forget to listen to the rest of the team – doesn’t matter where they come from. They all do there very best for RTI.

V Polsku je (podla mne) dobry signal na vychod od Krakowa, preto ze na zapad od Krakova je ceske Frekvence1 na 94.1.Radio Tatry mozna chytit az 200km od slovenskej hranicy!
Na horach je kvalitny signal az do vychodnej hranicy - pocuvalem este Rebece na 94.2 v polskych Vychodnych Karpatach(Bieszczady)
V Krakowie pocuvalem Radio Tatry na obycajnym drotiku. V Krakowie na 94.2 alebo na 94.4 vysielaju nekedy piratske stanice. W okoli Krakowa na 94.3(w meste Kalwaria Zebrzydowska) je maly vysielac naseho katolickeho radia - Radia Maryja, ktory mi rusi signal Radia Tatry w autoradiu, ked pocuvam je v Krakowie
W moim meste(Busko - Zdrój, male turisticke mesto, 150km od slovenskej hranicy) signal Radia Tatry je velmi dobry, stereo a RDS - ako polske stanice.

aj nas by zaujimalo kde v polsku sa da dobre chytit rti, informacie sa roznia a my neviem ani odpovedat nasej krakovskej navsteve. dakujem sylvia

Ak RTI chce byt europske radio, potom chapem, ze si doniesli britsku spicku na Slovensko. Len skoda, ze slovenski moderatori za nim zaostavaju o dve dlzky. Na druhej strane by sa to iste dalo povedat aj o moderatoroch Expresu, Twistu alebo niektorych z Funradia. Pani, odporucam, naladte si 94,2 alebo www.rti.fm vecer o 19:00 a pochopite, ako ma vyzerat spickovy EU speaker a deejay. ERIC GO ON!!!

Radio Tatry/RTI je velmi dobra stanica. Kvalita signalu v Polsku je velmi dobra.

Jasne, ked je taky expert preco nema angazma v BBC radio One alebo Kiss London za tucne love? Alebo prisla britska No1 robit osvetu za charitu na zaostalu Slovac? Nedajte sa vysmiat. Kvalitnym ludom staci ak poviete ze su dobri.Len preboha nezbozstujte.

Eric je najlepsi. Na Slovensku neexistuje profesionalnejsi speaker ako on. Ved aj robil dlhe roky v BBC. Na druhej strane chapem, ze mu ikto yo slovenskych moderatorov nesiaha ani po paty, pretoze tie ucha musia absolvovat vela rokov praxe, aby sa mu priblizili.
